Duchess of Cambridge Opens Charity Shop in Holt..

Today the Duchess of Cambridge opened a new EACH charity shop in Holt. We also saw the bringing back of the cutting a ribbon tradition, which was nice to see!

The Duchess has often been spotted in Holt which is only forty minutes from Anmer Hall in Norfolk. So, no doubt the Duchess was delighted that Holt was the chosen location for the new charity shop.

The Duchess greeted the children from local primary schools that had come out to see Kate.

The Duchess had a tour of the charity shop and tried on a hat.

She was also the store's first customer and bought a Fireman Sam book for George and a Beatrix Potter Tom Kitten figurine for Charlotte.

The Duchess brought back one of her favourite coats that we have see on numerous occasions before. It is the M Missoni Tweed Coat that we first saw in 2012 for a visit to Fortnum & Mason, we also saw it in June 2012 at a Diamond Jubilee event in Nottingham. It 2014 she wore it for the wedding of Lucy Meade and Charlie Budgett.

Kate wore her cornflower blue Zara dress that she wore the day after her wedding and has also worn under blue coats on numerous occasions.

The Duchess wore a new pair of shoes today. The Prada Pointy Toe Pumps. Kate wore the navy suede version but unfortunately there are no pictures of those so I have shown the black leather instead.

Kate wore her Cartier Ballon Bleu Watch.

She also wore her sapphire and diamond earrings.

It was a low-key ensemble which worked perfectly for a local engagement.

It is the second year the Duke and Duchess have attended. Last year the Duchess chose her bespoke pale pink Alexander McQueen coat.

This year's theme for the service is "An Inclusive Commonwealth".

Ellie Goulding performed "Fields of Gold" at the service. Ellie Goulding has often performed at royal events including William and Kate's wedding and Harry's Invictus Games.

The Queen looked lovely in blue.

The Duchess chose to wear Erdem, a Canadian designer. It was a nice touch to choose a designer from a Commonwealth country.

It was a bespoke version of the Erdem Trench.

Kate also wore a new hat by a new milliner John Boyd. It looks to be a bespoke version of this hat from his Spring/Summer 2016 Collection.

She also wore Rupert Sanderson Winona Pumps.

She carried her Emmy Natasha Clutch.

I loved the look today, however I can understand some people's views that it wasn't a very "Spring" look because of the colour choice. Last year's pink outfit did seem more colour appropriate, however I love the Erdem coat and hope she will wear it again!

Duke and Duchess's Busy Day in London..

Today the Duke and Duchess spent the day in London where they focused on suicide prevention.

They started the day at Maytree, which is a suicide centre that provides a four night stay for people in suicidal crisis.

The photos posted on Twitter were amusingly captioned with "look who dropped in for a cup of tea".

Their second engagement was the main part of the day when the couple met Jonny Benjamin and Neil Laybourn.

Jonny Benjamin was saved by a stranger, in 2008, when he was about to commit suicide. Jonny was hospitalised and revived the help he needed and then in 2014 her launched a social media campaign #FindMike. The charity Rethink Mental Illness helped Jonny find the man who saved his life - Neil Laybourn. Jonny has now launched a new initiative, ThinkWell, which educates young people about mental health. Today the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge discussed this initiative with him.

The couple then went back to Kensington Palace where they viewed a screening of "The Stranger on the Bridge", which is a documentary about Jonny's work and the #FindMike campaign.

After, the Duke and Duchess took part in a private discussion with a group who have been bereaved by suicide.

Today the Duchess repeated her Erdem Allie Coat.

She has worn this coat twice before - in April 2014 she wore it in New Zealand and July 2014 she wore it for the Tour de France.

Kate wore a new dress underneath which is from 2012 and is the Edition by Jonathan Saunders Swallow Print Dress.

She wore her Stuart Weitzman Power Pumps..

..and carried her Stuart Weitzman Muse Clutch.

She also wore her Cartier Ballon Bleu Watch.

Kate finished off the look with her emerald earrings and her hair worn her signature blow-dry style.

Today focussed once again on mental health - and area that the couple are keen to keep promoting and try and bring more awareness too.
