A Very Royal Christmas...

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the annual Christmas service at St Mary Magdalene's church today at the Sandringham Estate.

The couple held hands as they walked to the church, however Prince George stayed at home.

Kate's brother, James, and sister, Pippa, and mum and dad, Carol and Michael, also attended the service.

The Queen looked lovely in pink. Don't forget the Queen's speech at 3pm today!

The couple looked to have a lovely time this morning and no doubt enjoying their second Christmas with Prince George, this time in their own home - Amner Hall.

The Duchess was given flowers by well-wishers following the service.

The Duchess wore a brown tweed coat which is still to be identified. Underneath she wore her Hobbs Animal Silk Shirt Dress in Light Bitter Chocolate. This dress is currently retailing at £118 at John Lewis.

The Duchess wore her Emmy Shoes Valerie Pumps in Chocolate which retail for £400.

The Duchess also wore her hair half up, which showed off her gold dangling earrings.

The Duchess chose her Catherine Zoraida Double Leaf Earrings which are still available for £140. Many of you will also recognise her Lock & Co. Betty Boop Hat that she has worn many times before. She also wore a printed silk scarf which is still to be identified.

Copy Kate
The Duchess chose a brown tweed coat and I have found a beautiful replica. The Hobbs Richmond Herringbone Coat which retails for £249 in the sale. It is very similar to the Duchess's coat in shape and cut and style. A lovely copy for you! Now I know not many of us wear hats all that often but if you do then this Whiteley Fur Felt Beret with Quill in Chocolate is a lovely alternative to Kate's. You may recognise the hat as Kate has the same one in black! Although these earrings, Accessorize Dipped Leaf Earrings, are slightly larger than Kate's they have the same leaf shape and will look lovely with an up-do to show them off. Add a touch of colour, like Kate, with a printed scarf such as the Accessorize Dip Dye Leopard Stole which is only £8.50 in the sale.

I hope you have all had a very Merry Christmas!!!!

Cambridge's Christmas So Far...

With Christmas finally upon us and everyone enjoying festive activities, I thought I'd do a sum-up post of the Cambridge's Christmas so far and what they've been doing and have planned for the Christmas holiday.

The Duke and Duchess finished their royal duties for the year last week when they attended a board meeting with Prince Harry for The Royal Foundation. They then treat their staff to a traditional Christmas lunch at Bumpkin in South Kensington. In 2012, they hosted a Christmas lunch for their staff their too.

Generally, the Royal Family all gather at Sandringham for Christmas and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge joined them there in 2011 and 2013. However in 2012, they spent Christmas in Berkshire with Kate's family due to her Hyperemesis gravidarum.

It is thought that the couple will spend Christmas at Sandringham from now on because they have finally finished renovating Amner Hall which means that Kate's family can stay with them over Christmas, but they can still spend Christmas Day with the Queen and the Royal Family, as is tradition.

Christmas is an even more special time when you have children, because there are so many more exciting activities to do. William and Kate took Prince George, on Saturday, to meet Santa Clause at 'Santa's Magical Journey' in Thursford, Norfolk.
Santa's Magical Journey

They spent just under an hour walking round before George met Santa and was given a wooden toy train. No photographs where taken, as this was a private visit and the locals, like in Anglesey, seem more than happy to accommodate and protect the family.
Santa's Magical Journey

On Christmas Eve the Duke and Duchess will spend the day at Amner Hall, however they will go over to Sandringham in the evening for the traditional present opening and dinner.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expected to attend the Christmas church service on Thursday morning and are also thought to be taking Prince George over to Sandringham on Christmas Day to see the other members of the Royal Family.

It has been reported that the couple will host the Queen and other members of the Royal Family at Amner Hall for dinner over Christmas.

I will be back either later today or tomorrow with any Christmas updates on the Duke, Duchess and Prince George.

Prince George and his nanny, Maria Theresa Borrallo, were also in attendance.

The Duchess looked lovely in festive red (a colour she often chooses for the lunch). It is though that she is wearing her bespoke Katherine Hooker Ascot Dress that she first wore to the Norfolk Showground when attending a fundraising event for each. However, it is very difficult to definitely confirm this as the pictures show very limited offerings of the dress.

The Duchess accessorised with her Mappin and Webb Fortune White Gold Drop Necklace which retails for £3,950 and wore a statement pair of chandelier earrings she has owned for many years.

The Duchess wore her hair in a half-up style which showed off her beautiful earrings.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were guests at a wedding ceremony, which took place at Chelsea Old Church.

The dress-code was clearly black-tie.

The Duchess wore her Diane Von Furstenberg Zarita black lace gown which she wore to the Royal Variety Performance this year, back in November.

She also wore her Really Wild Tartan Scarf, we first saw last Christmas. The Duchess also carried a black embellished clutch and wore black suede pumps.

It was a lovely look for the Duchess and very appropriate for such a wedding.

In another interesting article, it has been revealed that the Duchess of Cambridge took Prince George to the Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park.

The Winter Wonderland is a Christmas spectacular fair that takes place every year. Having attended in the past I can tell you that it is very incredible!

According to People Magazine;

"George was smiling and laughing as they went 'round and 'round together. He was really enjoying the ride with his mom. You could see it in his little face - he looked so happy."

The incredible Anna from My Small Obsessions has identified one of the pairs of earrings that the Duchess wore during their trip to America.

They are by Kenneth Jay Lane and have recently sold out at The Outnet after having 80% off.

They are very stunning and I can't wait to see the Duchess wearing them again!

Prince George's Official Christmas Portrait...

Now I know this post isn't quite Kate related but I just couldn't resist because these pictures are just so cute!

The photographs were taken by Ed Lane-Fox, Prince Harry's private secretary who is also a former professional photographer.

They were taken last month at Kensington Palace. Prince George's facial expressions showed off his cheeky personality. During the Duke and Duchess's trip to New York, Prince William revealed that Prince George loves playing on his parent's iPad.

Prince George, with thanks to Camilla Tominey of The Sunday Express and Emily Andrews of The Sun who identified what Prince George was wearing, wore Cath Kidston Guards Tank Top, which has already sold out.

He also wore Polarn O. Pyret Classic Organic Cotton Bodysuit which retails for £12 in the sale at the moment. It has not yet been confirmed which trousers Prince George is wearing.

Prince George also wore knee high navy socks and Start-Rite Jo First Walking Shoes which are available for £36.

These photos were released after it was made clear by royal sources that they are part of an acknowledgement of the restraint shown by the media in allowing him to grow up without intrusion from photography, according to The Telegraph
