Today the Duchess wore the Missoni Long Snake Stitch Coat. Although there is a matching dress to go with the coat, Kate chose to wear a simple black dress underneath instead.

Kate also wore her Gianvito Rossi Suede Pumps.

She carried her Mulberry Clutch.

She also wore the pearl earrings she wore for Trooping the Colour and black pillbox hat.

It was a very appropriate and beautiful outfit for the Duchess today and I thought the trio marked this sombre occasion in a very lovely way.

A lot of people will have instantly recognised Kate's dress this evening.

It is one of my favourite gowns the Duchess has worn and she first wore it in 2011 for the ARK Gala Dinner.

Tonight she kept her accessories the same choosing to wear the LK Bennett Agata Sandals.

She also carried her Prada Box Clutch.

Kate chose to wear her borrowed chandelier earrings from the Queen this time which added more sparkle to the outfit. She also wore her hair up this time which showed off the delicate neckline and shoulders of the dress and also showed off the beautiful earrings.

This is definitely one of my favourite outfits for the Duchess, what do you think?

Today the Duchess brought back her Dolce and Gabbana Cotton-Blend Lace Dress.

She wore the dress for the Queen's birthday celebration at Windsor. We had very much hoped to see the dress in full one day because the glimpse we got last month made it look like a perfect dress for the Duchess.

The Duchess wore a new hat by Jane Taylor. It is the Una style which retails for £1,050.

She also wore her Gianvito Rossi Suede Pumps.

Their next stop was across the sea in Northern Ireland. The couple, titled Baron and Baroness Carrickfergus when in Norther Ireland, attended the Secretary of State for Norther Ireland's Garden Party at Hillsborough Castle.

It is one the second time the couple have visited Northern Ireland since their visit in 2011 for Pancake Day before their wedding in April. For that occasion Kate chose a Burberry Trench Coat.

The couple met and spoke to lots of guests.

They also planted a tree to mark the occasion.

Kate chose to repeat and old favourite today. She wore the gold brocade dress-coat by Day Birger Et Mikkelsen.

She has previously worn this dress in 2006 for the wedding of Laura Parker Bowles. She has also worn it for Zara Phillips wedding in 2011 and the Paralympic Opening Ceremony in 2012.

It is thought that she wore her Collette Dinnigan lace dress underneath. This is the dress she wore to a book launch in 2007.

Kate wore a new hat today. It was the Lock & Co. Morning Rose Perching Hat which retails for £645.

She completed the look with her LK Bennett Fern Pumps.

She also carried her LK Bennett Nina Clutch.

She wore a new pair of earrings today too. They have been identified as a custom version of the Kiki McDonough Aurora Lemon Quarts & Diamond Drop Earrings.

Kate also wore the Shamrock Brooch on her lapel. An appropriate nod to the country today.

It was a busy day for the couple with two very different outfits, what did you think to Kate's outfit choice's today?
