Trooping the Colour 2016

Every second Sunday of June is Trooping the Colour and this year's was even more spectacular to celebrate The Queen's 90th birthday. The Duchess of Cambridge joined the Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry in a carriage, whilst Prince William travelled on horseback behind The Queen.

The Mall was filled with horses and riders as they made their way back to Buckingham Palace.

The Royal Family appeared on the balcony to watch The Queen and Prince Phillip arrive back.

Today there was a very special treat with Prince George and Princess Charlotte made their second and debut appearance.

Prince George wore the same outfit that Prince William wore to Prince Harry's Christening. Princess Charlotte wore a pale pink outfit.

This was the sixth year in a row that Kate has attended Trooping the Colour. In 2011 she wore Alexander McQueen. In 2012 she wore Erdem. In 2013 and 2014 she wore Alexander McQueen. In 2015 she wore Catherine Walker.

Today Kate wore the Alexander McQueen Dress-Coat that she wore to Princess Charlotte's Christening.

She wore a new hat by Phillip Treacy, her Mappin & Webb Empress Pendant and a new pair of statement pearl earrings.
