The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry attended events in France today to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme.

Today the Duchess wore the Missoni Long Snake Stitch Coat. Although there is a matching dress to go with the coat, Kate chose to wear a simple black dress underneath instead.

Kate also wore her Gianvito Rossi Suede Pumps.

She carried her Mulberry Clutch.

She also wore the pearl earrings she wore for Trooping the Colour and black pillbox hat.

It was a very appropriate and beautiful outfit for the Duchess today and I thought the trio marked this sombre occasion in a very lovely way.
