The Duchess' Best Maternity Looks & How You Can Copy Them...

In honour of the recent news that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting a baby, I decided to look at some of Kate Middleton's best maternity looks, since the announcement, and found some none maternity copies of them. Some are exact copies, whereas some I have had to get creative because the original items are not available anymore. I hope you enjoy...

Outfit 7
When Kate was 28 weeks pregnant, she visited the Warner Bros. Studios with William and Harry, and wore what some people claim as being her most iconic pregnancy look (she repeated the outfit for a wedding in May). She wore a Topshop spotty dress with a black jacket, black heels and a black clutch.

Outfit 8
The Duchess attended one of the Queen’s annual garden parties at Buckingham Palace looking very summery in an Emilia Wickstead sunshine yellow coat, cream, fascinator, off-white shoes and off-white clutch.

Copy Kate;
New Look Textured Crepe Duster Coat in Yellow - £29.99 (not nearly as amazing as Kate’s, but it is surprisingly hard to find formal yellow coats!!)

Dune Acute Pointed Leather Court Shoes in Blonde - £75

Coast Paloma Pearl Clutch in Natural - £65 (I know this isn’t exactly like Kate’s, but I just LOVE it!!)

Whiteley Saturn Pillbox Hat in Natural - £79.95 (reduced from £99.95)

Outfit 9
One of the Duchess’ last engagements before maternity leave. She wore a Hobbs Dalmatian print coat to christen the Royal Princess Cruise Ship in June. Even at 35 weeks the Duchess never stopped being fashionable! She also wore a Lock & Co. fascinator and her Episode black suede court shoes.

Copy Kate;
Hobbs London Maggie Coat in Multi - £75 (reduced from £169) (I know it’s not Dalmatian print, but it is still pretty fabulous and it is the same classic style as the Duchess’ coat)

Aldo Sebec High Heel Court Suede Shoes in Black - £65

Links of London Effervescence Pearl White Earrings - £75

Untold Newbury Saucer in Black - £40

So there are my versions of some of Kate Middleton's best outfits from her first pregnancy. I am very much looking forward to finding some other options of the maternity outfits she will be choosing this time around and also to seeing some Winter maternity outfits this time!

I will hopefully be back on Wednesday when the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry will be attending the Opening Ceremony of the Invictus Games (providing the Duchess is well enough!)
