Kate visited the Anna Freud Centre recently, back in September, where she learnt more about the work they do there.
Today's visit gave her chance to see what the centre has been up to in the last few months.
It is thought to be the Duchess's last official engagement of the year and what a fun one it was to end with!
This autumn, both Kate and William, have focussed on children's mental health and today's visit rounded off that theme.
Kensington Palace said:
"Her Royal Highness is keen to draw attention to the ways in which this charity is working to lead a step change in children's and young people's mental health car."
During today's visit the Duchess watched performance and also joined in a drum lesson.
She also met families and joined in with a number of festive activities, including some Christmas collages.
The Duchess looked festive in a red dress we have seen on a couple of occasions.
It is one of my favourite dresses that Kate owns. I especially love the back of the dress.
She first wore the bespoke Alexander McQueen dress at the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant back in 2012 and then again in 2014 for a Dramatic Arts Reception at Buckingham Palace.
The Duchess also wore her Stuart Weitzman Power Pumps.
She carried her Mulberry Bayswater Clutch.
The Duchess also wore her Kiki McDonough Lauren Yellow Gold Pave Diamond Leaf Earrings which are still available for £2,200.
It was a lovely look for the Duchess today - very festive! I imagine we will see a similar outfit sometime this week for The Queen's pre-Christmas luncheon at Buckingham Palace. The Duchess often chooses red for that occasion too, however this year could see a surprise twist!

If you want to look festive in a long-sleeved red dress this Christmas then why not try the Ted Baker Sanvie Stitch Detail Skater Dress. It is a lovely option for winter as it has 3/4 sleeves and is made of a thick knitted fabric. It is ideal for dressing up or down depending on the occasion!
