Annual Diplomatic Reception...

Tonight was the much anticipated White-Tie Diplomatic Reception at Buckingham Palace. Although we only get arrival shots in cars we still love this event as it means a tiara appearance will be taking place! Tonight did not disappoint..

Tonight is the third time the Duke and Duchess have attended. In 2013 Kate wore a bespoke Alexander McQueen gown and the Queen Mother's Papyrus Tiara. In 2015 Kate wore the same bespoke Alexander McQueen gown but chose the Cambridge Lovers Knot Tiara.

Although we have never seen the Alexander McQueen gown in full, during The Queen at 90 documentary last year we were offered a glimpse in a never before seen video taken at the 2015 Diplomatic Reception.
