Kate's Schedule is Getting Busier!

So, there has now been more news on a few more engagements for the Duchess of Cambridge.

As I mentioned in my last post, Kate will visit the Anna Freud Centre on 17th September. This visit is designed for Kate to see their work in children's mental health care.

The Anna Freud Centre is "a child mental health research, training and treatment centre." It is based in London and is "one of only a small number of places in the UK where children can receive full psychoanalysis."

I will provide some more information on the Anna Freud Centre when the Duchess visits.

Now, please keep in mind that the following engagements have been confirmed by palace sources for The Daily Mail! On 18th September, Kate will join Prince William and Prince Harry at the opening ceremony of the Rugby World Cup at Twickenham. Prince Harry is Honorary President of England Rugby 2015 and both Prince's are big fans of the sport!

Kate has attended rugby games in the past, firstly when she joined Prince William to watch Wales vs New Zealand at the Millennium Stadium in 2012.

They both also watched a rugby game during their visit to Australia in 2014 at Allianz Stadium. This visit was much more casual.

In November 2014, during Kate's second pregnancy, they watched another rugby game - Wales  vs Australia at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff - following a visit to Valero Pembroke Refinery.

It will be interesting to see what Kate chooses to wear. Her official appearances at rugby games are usually a smart coat, however this could be a coincidence because of the time of year both rugby games have been held - both were November. This time it is September and could be a touch warmer, but this is England so you never know!

It has also been reported that "she is planning to attend other unconfirmed tournament events." So, these could be nice surprises to look forward too!

Also, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, will reportedly "undertake several joint engagements together, including visits to Dundee and North Wales in late October and late November respectively," according to The Daily Mail.

If there any more details about either visit, or an itinerary or press release is issued, then I will either update this post or do a new one (depending on how detailed the press release is!) so keep checking back!!

In slightly unrelated knows to Kate's schedule I have a hat update! Many of you will remember Kate's Christmas 2013 outfit...

The beautiful hat was by Gina Foster and she has now made this previously bespoke creation available!

It is the Meribel Felt Beret Hat with Bow. The colour is classed as Hunter Green, and is already down to the last 2 in stock - however I believe there will be more available soon! It is priced at £535.

Gina Foster does some beautiful hats and I am sure we will see Kate in many more of her creations in the not too distant future!

Unless there are any more updates or more information on upcoming engagements I will see you all on 17th September...

Bumper Update Post...

It has been a quiet summer for the Cambridge family, however there have been a few updates since their last engagement. We have one confirmed engagement, one hopeful engagement and a couple of intriguing rumours!

So, let's get started...

It has been confirmed earlier today, by Kensington Palace, that on 17th September, the Duchess of Cambridge will the Anna Freud Centre to "see their work in children's mental health care". It is a subject Kate has shown interest in before and is one we expect to see a patronage develop from.

It is thought that this visit will signify the return to Royal Duties for Kate, and that she will start undertaking more towards the end of September and beginning of October. It is not unusual for the Royal Family to reduce their engagements and appearances over the Summer and I, for one, am definitely looking forward to their return!

In other news, it has been suggested, but not yet confirmed, that the Duchess will accompany the Duke to the State Banquet in honour of the Chinese President - Xi Jinping.

Prince William met President Xi Jinping in March, earlier this year, when he went on an official visit to China. It was during this visit that Prince William invited the Chinese President for a state visit later in the year.

Last year, the Singapore President and his wife visited London, and Prince William & Catherine greeted them at their hotel before accompanying them for the Guard of Honour. It was Kate's first engagement back after her severe morning sickness.

So, it is thought likely that the couple will undertake some part of the state visit, given's William royal visit earlier in the year.

It will also mean that the Duchess will be wearing a tiara. Kate has only worn a tiara twice since her wedding in 2011. Firstly, on her wedding day, she wore the Cartier Halo Tiara.

In December 2013, the Duchess wore the Papyrus tiara to the Diplomatic Reception at Buckingham Palace.

I am exited to see what she might choose this time!!

The exciting rumour that is currently circulating, other than the state banquet, is that of a possible honour for the Duchess.

According to the Daily Mail;

"The Queen plans to celebrate her milestone next month – when she becomes the longest-reigning Monarch – by honouring the Duchess of Cambridge.
Kate will receive the Royal Family Order of Queen Elizabeth II – the highest honour that can be bestowed upon a female member of the family.
The 33-year-old Duchess is the only senior member not to wear a family honour.
A source said: ‘It is an honour reserved for first division female Royals.’ Sophie Wessex has one, as does the Duchess of Cornwall and Princess Anne.
The insignia is a diamond- encrusted brooch featuring an ivory plaque of the Queen wearing the Order of the Garter and bearing the Royal cypher. It is worn on a yellow ribbon.
Kate is expected to wear hers to a State dinner when the Chinese president Xi Jinping visits the UK in October."

The Royal Family Order of Queen Elizabeth II is a beautiful brooch-type piece which would be worn for black-tie and white-tie occasions.

Here you can see the Duchess of Cornwall wearing hers..

..and Countess of Wessex wearing hers.

It would be an incredible honour for the Duchess to receive one, and it is believed that if she does then she will wear it to the Chinese State Banquet, if she attends.

Another intriguing rumour is that of a Royal Tour next year for the Cambridge family.
photo via Kensington Palace

It has been speculated that they will go on a tour of the Caribbean in either February or March next year. This rumour has been fuelled by the report that the Middleton annual trip in January/February has been cancelled next year and rearranged to November this year, so that the Royal Tour can take place.

It is believed that both Prince George and Princess Charlotte will accompany their parents. Prince George would be around two-and-a-half years old and Princess Charlotte would be around 10months old - a similar age to George when he went to Australia and New Zealand!

There has been no concrete evidence that this tour is anything more than a rumour, but I will update as soon as there is.

Unfortunately, there have been no Kate sightings recently, however if this changes or any other engagements are announced and will try and update as quickly as possible!

Duke & Duchess at The America's Cup..

Today, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will spend the day cheering on Sir Ben Ainslie and his team as they race in The America's Cup World Series.

Last year, June 2014, Kate joined Sir Ben Ainslie to launch Britain's America's Cup Challenge at The Royal Museums Greenwich. This was actually before Kate chose to be patron.

Back in February, Kate visited the HQ of Ben Ainslie Racing in Portsmouth.

Today, Kate was back, this time with William, to support Ben Ainslie once again. The America's Cup was first staged in 1851 off the Isle of Wight. It is international sport's oldest trophy.

Today's event was delayed because of bad weather in Portsmouth. According to their website they said:

"Due to the weather forecast for winds in excess of 30mph to come in during the original racing window of 13:30 to 15:00 hrs today, Sunday 26th July, the Regatta Director has decided to bring forward with a scheduled start time of 1200 noon."

The Duke and Duchess arrived in plenty of time for the races and to meet the teams beforehand. They spoke to Emirates Team New Zealand, who they first met last year during their visit to New Zealand.

According to The Mirror they also met "Sir Keith Mills, Chairman of The Louis Vuitton America's Cup World Series Portsmouth, Donna Jones, leader of the Portsmouth City Council, and a few other key dignitaries."

The Duke and Duchess watched the race from inside, due to the bad weather.

However, the race was stopped half-way through because of bad storms. Kate's disappointment was obvious as the boats were dragged back into the harbour.

After the races, Kate tested out the 3D sailing simulator with Sir Ben Ainslie.

She also viewed the potent ion 1851 Trust logo designs by local school children.

Following a speedy outfit changed, William and Kate, met with the winning team, which turned out to be Britain - so a great day all round!

The Duchess got the fun job of presenting the British winning team with their medals.

Today, Kate was dressed sensibly for today's poor weather and casual situation. She wore skinny jeans and a BAR (Ben Ainslie Racing) fleece.

The back of the fleece is emblazoned with HRH Duchess of Cambridge.

Kate and William has matching BAR fleeces on, both emblazoned with their names!

You can but the Land Rover BAR Merchandise exclusively from Henri Lloyd.

Kate's fleece is listed on the website as the Land Rover BAR Aura Half Zip Women's and is available for £70.

The Duchess is wearing her Sebago Bala Boat Shoes in Taupe Suede/White which are still available for £89.99, despite the Duchess having first worn them back in 2011!

The Duchess also wore her Annoushka Pearl Drop Earrings.

Kate had an outfit change today, which was a lovely surprise. She changed into her Me+Em Breton Top which is still available for £48.

She also wore her Zara Double Breasted Blazer, undone, which is now sold out.

She also wore her Stuart Weitzman Coco Wedges. They are currently available for £225.

It is a similar look to that she wore last April in New Zealand.

The Duchess looked to be enjoying herself today.

Prince George's 2nd Birthday Photographs & Updates...

Tomorrow, 22nd July, will be Prince George's 2nd birthday. On the eve of this occasion Kensington Palace have released an official photograph.

It was taken at the same time as the christening photos at Sandringham House gardens.

It is a very cute picture and a lovely unexpected surprise.

Last year, for his 1st birthday, official photographs were taken at the Natural History Museum in the butterfly exhibition.

It has been reported that the Cambridge family will celebrate his 2nd birthday at Anmer Hall with close family and friends. It will be a much less formal affair than his 1st birthday, which included fan fair.

I am sure he will have a lovely time and if there is any more news on the occasion then I will update!

In other news, the first official engagement for the Duchess has been announced since Princess Charlotte's birth.

On Sunday 26th July, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will spend the day in Portsmouth, supporting the America's Cup World Series. Kate is patron of The 1851 Trust.
photo via Kensington Palace Twitter Feed

It is Kate's most recent patronage and was announced last October. At the time of the announcement Kate said:

"I am delighted to be Royal Patron of The 1851 Trust.  I feel very fortunate to have enjoyed sailing from a young age and I know it is a great way of providing young people with the opportunity to develop skills and confidence."

Back in February, Kate visited the HQ of Ben Ainslie Racing in Portsmouth.

Last year, June 2014, Kate joined Sir Ben Ainslie to launch Britain's America's Cup Challenge at The Royal Museums Greenwich. This was actually before Kate chose to be patron.

She chose a nautical themed outfit for both occasions and it is very possible that she will do this again.

According to the official press release, on this visit the Duke and Duchess will:

"Tour the team technical areas at the Royal Navy Base before the day's racing begins, where they will meet the six international team skippers and their crews.

Visit the new BAR team base, to see their state of the art facilities, meet staff and families and learn about BAR's investment in developing maritime and design skills.

Watch teams from the USA, France, New Zealand, Japan, Sweden and Great Britain compete in two races, and later present medals to the teams at the Waterfront Festival Arena."

I am looking forward to the event and can't wait to see what Kate chooses to wear!

An exciting piece of news for Copy-Kate fans! Kate's Issa engagement dress has been released.
photo via The Daily Mail

It is currently available at Harvey Nichols and is called the Phylis Navy Wrap-Effect Silk Jersey Dress and is £575.

Although, Kate does not wear the Issa label anymore. According to The Telegraph is is because it was announced that Camilla Al-Fayed, whose brother Dodi died in the 1997 Paris car crash alongside Princess Diana, bought a 51% stake in the company. The Royal Family are said to want no association with the Al-Fayed name after they accused the car accident as being a conspiracy planned by the Royal Family!

However, it is an incredible and iconic dress that I know lots of people would love the second chance to own!

I will be back on Sunday for the Duke and Duchess's visit to Portsmouth1
