The Duchess was joined by Turner Prize-winning artist Grayson Perry, who is also a patron of The Art Room.

They met the children that the programme works with and they presented the Duchess with a small chair covered in their paintings, a gift believed to be for Prince George.

The Duchess seemed to get along well with Grayson Perry.

After her visit the Duchess met those who had been waiting to see her and was given many bouquets of flowers.

The Duchess wore a new dress by luxury label Madderson London. She chose the Naomi A-Line Dress in Navy which was retailing for £225 after having being reduced int he sale from £450. The dress was made in London and is described as:
"Channel the big 1960s trend of the season in our Naomi shift. The navy wool comes from Hainsworth, a heritage British mill that clothed the soldiers in the Battle of Waterloo. We’ve trimmed it with French tweed to transform a simple silhouette into something special. Add heels or this season’s knee-high boots. Fully lined."
Although the brand does maternity wear, the Duchess chose to wear a non-maternity dress in a bigger size. When Zara Phillips was pregnant with Mia Grace, she also wore a dress by Madderson London - the Coco dress which retailed for £265. It is possible that Zara recommended the brand to Kate.

The Duchess teamed her dress with her Episode Angel pumps and carried her Mulberry clutch.
The Duchess also wore her sapphire and diamond drop earrings and Cartier Ballon Bleu watch.

The watch is thought to have been a present from Prince William before the couple's tour to New Zealand and Australia.
Many people thought that the dress would have been much better with the additional top two patterned panels, what do you think?

Copy Kate
If you want to get a dress just like Kate's, which has now sold out, then Madderson London have a very similar style one in the same colour palette called the Adeline Shift Dress which is in the sale for £175, down from £250. The Duchess wore her trusty black suede court shoes, which you can replicate with the Aldo Sebec Court Shoes which are currently on sale from £65 to £24.99. I have a pair myself and can vouch for their comfiness! A black suede clutch is a good investment because it will always come in handy and go with pretty much anything. Mango's Suede Flap Clutch which is available for £24.99 is a classic style that will last with you forever. Now they may not be as sparkly as the Duchess's but they are rather nice and at a much more affordable price of £89 at Thomas Sabo. Team this with one of Thomas Sabo's many stainless steel watches which closely resemble Kate's. I like the Glam & Soul Chronograph Watch which retails at £275. I hope you like my outfit replica, let me know below!
