The Duchess Wears Hobbs for Fostering Network Visit

The Duchess arrived for today's event looking very happy, no doubt looking forward to learning about a new campaign.

Kate knelt down to meet some to the children who had come to see her. I think it's fair to say that Kate is a natural.

This week is Fostering and Adoption Week, a campaign which is run by Barnado's to raise awareness of the importance of fostering and adopting children.

The Fostering Network's aim is;

"Together with our members and supporters The Fostering Network is a powerful catalyst for change, and we’ve been leading the fostering agenda for more than 40 years. We work with over 400 fostering services and 52,500 foster carers, influencing and shaping policy and practice at every level."

The Duchess chose an old favourite today by repeating a dress we had seen briefly underneath her Matthew Williamson coat during a visit to Pembroke Refinery in Wales last November.

The Duchess of Cambridge has often worn Hobbs in the past and today chose the Hobbs Animal Shirt Dress which was reduced to £50 from £169 before selling out online, however it is believed that the dress is still available in some stores.

The dress also came in grey, but has also sold out in this colour too.

The Duchess teamed the dress with opaque black tights and her Stuart Weitzman Power Pumps in black suede.

The Duchess, once again, carried her Mulberry clutch.

She also debuted a new pair of earrings by Mirabelle Jewellery (with thanks to Anna and HRH Duchess Kate). The Duchess chose the Gina Gold Plated Loop Earrings which are available for £35.

Copy Kate
If you want to copy Kate in a brown shirt dress then why not try the Whitby Linen Shirt Dress by Great Plains which retails for £25 in the sale. Although it is more of a khaki brown than chocolate brown, I still love the dress. Team this with thick black tights and Aldo Sebec Court Shoes in black suede for £32.50. Mango's Suede Flap Clutch for £24.99 will finish the outfit off and is ideal for most occasions. Add a touch of sparkle to your outfit with some gold drop earrings like the Duchess with these Accessorize Jasmine Opal Teardrop Earrings which retail for £7. What do you think?
