Royal Tour of India & Bhutan - Day 5

Today marked the official start to the couple's royal tour of Bhutan. The couple arrived at Guwahati airport in the early hours of the morning to take a flight to Bhutan.

She wore the dress back in 2014 for a Place2Be conference.

The arrival into Bhutan offered some stunning views which the couple go to see firsthand as the King and Queen arranged for them to sit in the cockpit for the landing.

The Duke and Duchess were greeted by Princess Chimi, the King's eldest sister, and her husband Prince Dasho.

Kate repeated another dress for the second time today when she stepped off the plane.

It is her Emilia Wickstead bespoke yellow-gold coat dress that she wore for the Order of the Thistle back in 2012. Today's version had been updated with the addition of a belt.

Kate also wore her LK Bennett Fern Pumps.

She carried her LK Bennett Natalie Clutch.

She wore a new pair of earrings by Brora, a Scottish brand. They are the Gold Charm Earrings which retail for £39.

After an outfit change at their hotel - The Taj Tashi - the couple travelled to the Tshichho Dzong. The Tshichho Dzong is a Buddhist monastery on the edge of Thimphu.

They took part in a traditional welcoming procession called a Chipdrel.

They were led to the Golden Throne Room where they met their hosts for this part of the tour. They then had an audience with the King Jigme and Queen Jetsun at the Tshichho Dzong.

The King and Queen then led the Duke and Duchess to a Buddhist Temple where they lit an oil lamp.

They then headed to an open-air archery event where they enjoyed tea.

Archery is the national sport of Bhutan and the couple were very eager to join in. The Duchess was first to have to go.

But it wasn't very successful.

Although in the Bhutanese version of archery they have to hit a very small target that is 145 meters away.

They then met local children from NGOs Draktsho and Ability Bhutan.

It was made up of the Paul and Joe Embroidered Wool Cape..

..and a beautiful skirt that was made by Kate's private dressmaker in London using fabric woven by a lady from Thimphu called Kelzang Wangmo.

Kate debuted another pair of Kiki McDonough earrings. This time they were the Lavender Amethyst Pear & Oval Drop Earrings which retail for £3,900.

She also wore another pair of shoes which are believed to be the LK Bennett Floret Pumps.

For their last engagement of what was a very busy day, the couple returned to the Taj Tashi hotel for another outfit change.

They then headed to the Lingkana Palace for dinner with King Jigme and Queen Jetsun. Lingkana Palace is one of the King and Queens residences.

Kate chose another Tory Burch dress today. This time the Tory Burch Floral Mesh Gown which retails for £1,160.

She also wore the John Lewis Modal Wrap in coral to add a splash of colour to the heavily embroidered dress.

She wore her Gianvito Rossi Crisscross Ankle-Wrap Sandals that we saw back in India.

She wore her new pair of earrings from earlier in the day. The Brora Gold Charm Earrings which retail for £39.
